The fire to learn,
the drive to succeed
It all started with a chemistry presentation by engineering students in Lomé. More than ten years later, that friendship became Zo'One.

"The winning team"
At the École Nationale Supérieure d'Ingénieurs (ENSI), first-year electrical engineering students team up for a chemistry presentation on semiconductors. It's a success, but above all, they discover a rare chemistry of their own. Classmates nickname them "the winning team", and teachers even invite them to collaborate on their own projects.

Carrefour des Sciences
During student week, the team notices that no activity truly brings the whole school together. So they create Carrefour des Sciences: a general-knowledge game where everyone draws a question in the subject of their choice and leaves with a prize. Funded with their student savings, it makes a 46% profit in three days. But the real discovery is elsewhere: learning and play belong together.

The following year
The whole school competes
The team builds software for networked play. Carrefour des Sciences becomes an inter-department competition where every class takes part, and the entire school comes together around shared knowledge.

Pépite d'or: the turning point
The school chooses the team to represent it at the first Pépite d'or, an entrepreneurship challenge run by the MAXCOM agency. In a meeting with a mentor, one question changes everything: why keep this philosophy inside one school? Why not share it with every learner? The project doesn't win, but the interest from visitors and the jury confirms the vision is right.

Then
The call that changed everything
Studies, internships and life scatter the team, and the project slowly goes quiet. Until the FJET mentor calls: "I told some investors about your project. They want to see your platform come to life." The fire is back, with a clearer, more mature vision: engagement is the key to learning.

Today
Zo'One
The first versions drew real interest and showed what needed to improve. Zo'One is the result: an app built to be reliable, scalable and suited to how students learn today, with one ambition: to modernize learning in French-speaking Africa through digital tools.
More than a name, a philosophy
In Togolese slang, a "Zo'One" is the whiz kid, the top of the class. And the name carries a double meaning:
The drive to work hard, the energy you put into succeeding.
Excellence, leadership, aiming for first place.
Learning should be a pleasure, not a chore
Challenges, questions, progress and rewards: Zo'One turns revision into a dynamic experience. When students feel stimulated, challenged and valued, they give their best.
The drive to learn
Ezo: rediscover the desire to work and the energy to improve every day.
The pursuit of excellence
One: aim for the best, from the Brevet to the Probatoire and the Baccalauréat.
Students at the center
Every student moves at their own pace and takes charge of their own learning journey.
When you believe in something with passion and keep going despite the obstacles, dreams end up coming true.
